Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for a Truck Alignment Technician at our Hartland (Truck Shop) location.
This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a contagious can-do attitude in the workplace. The Alignment Technician's main responsibility is to conduct inspections on vehicle components to identify issues that may affect the accuracy of the alignment process. This job requires physical strength, which includes heavy lifting, frequent bending, working in tight spaces, and the ability to be on one's feet or walk frequently.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Alignment of heavy and light-duty trucks
- Identifies irregular tire wear and underinflated tires and assists with diagnosis and correction of the cause
- Change truck and passenger tires when needed
- Communicate with Service Advisors on status and update them on customer's vehicles
- Complete the repair order by writing out the work performed on the vehicle
- Document all movement of parts/materials using appropriate paperwork
- Unload transport trucks and warehouse tires and inspect disposed tires for adjustment
- Maintain a clean environment, tools, and equipment, using company guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience performing alignments is an asset
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to a safe workplace
Schedule:
- 9-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
