Job description


We currently have a full-time position available for a Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator at our Hartland location.
The Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator is responsible for safely load, unload, and transport vehicles using a tow truck. This can be a physically demanding position.

Responsibilities and requirements:
  • Operate tow truck to transport heavy vehicles safely to designated locations.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before towing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks on vehicles when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided, including vehicle condition and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Respond to calls promptly and professionally.
  • Keep the tow truck clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving or towing is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

Schedule:
  • Full-time position with schedule weekends off
  • Available to work flexible shifts
  • On call shift
  • Situational overtime
