Job description
We currently have a full-time position available for a Shipper/ Receiver at our Hartland (Truck Shop) location.
This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a contagious can-do attitude in the workplace. The Shipper/ Receiver will perform general physical activities to clean the warehouse, load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires the candidate to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Assisting the shipping and receiving area and with local parts delivery
- Help to organize inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods
- Pack products on pallets to avoid any damage
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Parts experience would be an asset
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred (training available)
- Valid Driver’s license
- Bending walking required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Commitment to a safe workplace
Schedule:
- 9-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Possible overtime
